Neonbabies ‎- 1983 [LP] (1983, Ariola)

Neonbabies were a Berlin pop-punk band that existed from 1978 to 1983. The sisters Inga, alias Inga DiLemma, and Annette Humpe, alias Anita Spinetti, formed the core of the band in autumn 1979. The already experienced musicians Nikolaus Polack, Conny Cool, Reinhard Meermann and Tony Niss also played with them. In early 1980 they recorded their first EP, which also included Anette Humpe's song "Blaue Augen" ("Blue Eyes"), which would later make her famous on Ideal. Annette Humpe founded the band Ideal in April 1980, but stayed with Neonbabies until the summer. Their first LP was released by Good Noise, after which the band switched to Ariola. In autumn 1982 Nikolaus Polak left the band, Toni Kambiz came for him. In 1983 the band broke up. [SOURCE: INDIPEDIA.DE
