Lavabos Iturriaga emerged in Bilbao in 1981, before the Radical Basque Rock era. It was formed by Ana Jiménez (voice and polyphonic synthesizer), Oscar Amezaga (guitar), Javi González "Koketo" (synthesized guitar), Paco Marcilla (bass) and Roge Blasco (synthesizer). Their live appeareances showed them in white makeup and strange uniforms halfway between The Residents and Kraftwerk. Hypnotic melodies, instrumental songs, Japanese settings, songs in invented languages ... They were among the few who recorded videos produced for the newborn Basque television. In 1982 they recorded in the Du-Manoir Studios (France), for Discos Suicidas, the single 'China/Guasimira/Nichos'. [SOURCE: THE COMMERCIAL ZONE]
