'Correspondances' is the only album, self-released, by French band Tableau Noir, formed by Yasmine (backing vocals), Patrick Ambulante (bass), Thierry Cordier (guitar, vocals), Bernard Mikaélian (keyboards) and David Girardi (vocals, drum programming) and produced by Jacques Pinon and keyboardist Bernard Mikaélian. 'Correspondances' is a rare but great Minimal Synth / New-Wave concept album based on lyrics from Charles Baudelaire's "Fleurs Du Mal", sung in French in a Daniel Darc fragile and captivating vein. Music comes with some Taxi-Girl's 'Seppuku' vibes to more minimal synth tracks. A must in every synth-pop collection. [SOURCE: DISCOGS]
