Brain Boosters Records was an English independent label based in Hampshire. On early releases is called Brain Booster Music and then Brain Booster Records and became titled Brain Boosters Records later. Also titled Brain Booster and Brain Boosters -all are the same label. They released singles for bands like The Frames or Attic and in this compilation appears some songs by Renaldo & The Loaf, the best known artists of the whole lot. Renaldo Malpractice (Brian Poole) and Ted the Loaf (David Janssen) are a bizarre, insanely creative duo of Brits hailing from Portsmouth. Their music is wacky and fun, schizophrenic and unexpected. "Discovered" by The Residents after they released a cassette version of their first recording, they were signed to Ralph Records and produced 3 albums between 1981 and 1987. [SOURCE: DISCOGS]
