The S-Haters were an English punk / post-punk band based in Watford. They changed their name in the mid-1980's to The Underlings after drummer A.J aka Andy Jackson joined. Released in the notable Midnight Music label, this mini-album contains mildly melodic and feedback-laden dark-punk ("Disposable People", "Hall Of Suffering"), which reminds a bit of The Mob, while also anticipating The Mission. Ambitiously, the entire second side is covered by the 15-minute "Angel", a somber T.S.O.L.-like call to arms, with praiseworthy emotional depth. [SOURCE: RATE YOUR MUSIC]
