Hessel Veldman / Herman Te Loo / Kees Beukelaar – Far From The He(a)rd [Cass] (1984, Exart)

Hessel Veldman was born in 1956 in IJmuiden, Noord-Holland, Netherlands. Member of FNTC, Gorgonzola Legs, Portable Vaudeville and Y Create, was also co-founder of Exart with Nick Nicole in October 1982. The label wanted to spread new experimental and improvised music. The studio was the place to improvise, compose, record and make radio-programmes, mixes and remixes. At the same time Veldman started to preserve sounds in the Exart archive. In this tape he is accompanied by saxophone player Herman Te Loo and Kees Beukelaar (member of Rotterdans).
